T+N: LAST SATURDAY NIGHT

Time: 12/2022
Wedding planner: Co Phuong
Concept and Decoration: Co Phuong
Venue: Amaya Retreat
Film and Photographer: Haivuproductions
Make-up artist: Huy Ji Chun

The tale of Tuan and Ngoc—the “firsts” and turning points connected to music, dance floors, and festivals—served as the inspiration for the wedding concept.

Disco balls will be braided in among the flower and leaf décor in a distinctive modern manner, creating a “Last Saturday night” area that evokes the spirit of the year-end Christmas season. Everywhere you look at the decorations and activities, there are details that bring to mind music and festivals.

AND I SAY TO MY HEART: RAVE ON

ATMOSPHERE CREATION

It was a lively celebration with the “rave festival” vibe, but it aslo felt cozy and personal like a Christmas dinner.

Tuan Ngoc’s wedding brought back priceless of their love story memories and signaled a new chapter in their life. It was a chance for guests to share heartfelt and amusing stories. Music is the connecting thread throughout the party’s emotions.

IF MUSIC BE THE FOOD OF LOVE, PLAY ON

Combining an inimitable eye for detail with a penchant for the unexpected, Tuan and Ngoc’s wedding was a kaleidoscope of design and styling, where an aesthetic built from texture and color was brought to life in the Amaya Retreat.

The concept was a subtle mix of red, pink, and dark green. We were very much inspired by the bride and groom. It is also inspired by Christmas colors. Cozy, bold, holiday. It was important to keep the styling contemporary yet with a natural undertone to not allow any prominent trends to take over.

Snack corner

We also decided to include certain cultural elements in the wedding party, such information about Tò he, Điếu cày, and nostalgic treats like Nem chua rán, bánh rán, as Tuan and Ngoc and the guests has been living abroad for a considerable amount of time.
