Tina and Trung Anh were two complete strangers. They didn’t share mutual friends, didn’t live in the same city, and had completely different personalities and lifestyles. In many ways, they seemed like two people who would never cross paths.

But life has its own way of bringing people together.

They met by chance at a Buddhist monastery, connected by the same spiritual teacher. That encounter sparked something—slowly, over time, their bond grew. Not because they had similarities, but because they shared the same values: kindness, mindfulness, and the desire to live each day with intention.

Their love didn’t start from common ground, but from shared beliefs. And that’s what made their story so special.

We met by chance, but it was fate that brought us together

The Vision

When Tina and Trung Anh first came to us, they didn’t have a clear vision of how the wedding should look—but they were very certain about how it should feel. They told us three things:

Fistly, the wedding has to reflect who we are.

Secondly, they want their guests to feel the connection between our two souls.

Lastly, they want the celebration to be joyful, warm, and cozy.

And from there, everything started to unfold.

THE LOVE MUSEUM

We didn’t want to just “decorate” a venue. We wanted to create an experience. So we turned the ballroom at Melia Hanoi into something more than a space—it became a journey, almost like a living museum of their love. The wedding invitation wasn’t just an invite. It was a ticket to the “Love Museum.”

something written long before we ever met

Bridesmaids and groomsmen became guides—welcoming guests, handing out small flyers, and walking them through different corners of the space. There were four interactive zones and eight display areas, each telling a different chapter of Tina and Trung Anh’s story.

Guests weren’t just attending a wedding. They were walking through it—feeling it unfold with every step.

A Quiet Balance

Melia Hanoi is a beautiful, modern hotel—but blending that style with the more spiritual, sacred elements of Vajrayana Buddhism was definitely a challenge. We had to find a balance between honoring the couple’s beliefs while making everyone feel comfortable, even those unfamiliar with the spiritual side.

We kept the design approach subtle and thoughtful. The chosen color palette—warm shades of red and white—offered a symbolic nod to tradition while still feeling elegant and modern. Soft candlelight filled the room, adding a sense of warmth and sacredness without tipping into solemnity. Spiritual elements, such as Buddha statues and mala beads, were delicately placed throughout the space—not as dominant features, but as gentle, meaningful touches. It was important to the couple that the atmosphere didn’t feel overtly religious, especially for guests unfamiliar with their spiritual background. And in the end, we believe we found the perfect balance—creating a space that felt both inclusive and deeply personal.

BECAUSE OUR LOVE IS A JOURNEY

THE EMOTION

The outdoor ceremony space was designed with curves and circular shapes—symbolizing completeness and harmony. Everything felt soft, warm, and open. One of our favorite details: a live painter sat at the ceremony, quietly observing and painting the emotions of the day. The artist captured the raw, honest feelings on canvas—the bride’s smile, the groom’s tears, the look in their parents’ eyes. It was something no camera could fully catch.

Tina and Trung Anh didn’t need the perfect song or the most luxurious flowers to make their wedding meaningful. All they needed was each other—and the story they had written together. And we’re so grateful to have been a part of helping them tell it.
