Ninh Binh holds a special place in Vincent and Chie’s hearts, as it is where Vincent proposed. Thus, they chose it as the setting for their wedding. As photographers who cherish nature, genuine emotions, and vibrant themes, they collaborated with us to craft an unforgettable experience, blending the wild beauty of nature with a burst of colors.
Chie is from China, so a Tea Ceremony is a must-have ritual for their wedding. We plan an intimate Chinese ceremony at the resort, embracing traditional Chinese themes in decoration and attire. This created a warm and novel atmosphere, bringing together family and friends from two distinct cultures.
Embracing the theme of “colorful nature,” the venue was adorned with vibrant details while preserving a natural aesthetic. The decorations appeared so seamlessly integrated that guests felt as though the flowers had naturally blossomed there. The colorful theme extended to the chairs, floral arrangements, guests’ attire, the bride’s makeup, the groom’s handkerchief, and their vow notebooks, turning the whole ceremony into a poetic movie scene.
No one other than Chie and Vincent has agreed to let us take 60 guests on a boat to a place with no phone call or internet. Drifting along the water, passing through the cave to reach the call of nature amidst the open mountains and forests is an unexpected and extraordinary experience that the couple prepare for guests visiting Vietnam for the first time.
While everyone was still engrossed in enjoying the free and airy atmosphere of Ninh Binh’s nature, the groom’s sister started singing opera and the most special moment of the ceremony began.
We can feel the exploded emotions of everyone when Chie, on her own, appears on a single boat with her mysterious radiant beauty that Vincent and sensible guests can’t help but have their tears fall.
To prepare for a long day from the early morning Tea Ceremony to the late evening After-Party, Chie chose a white Cheongsam for the Tea Ceremony, a boat neck wedding dress for the Main Ceremony in the valley and a comfortable long white dress for the dinner reception and After-Party. Flowers attached to her shoulder, a side-pin hairstyle or a fan made from lotus leaves all contribute to enhancing Chie’s classic look while still incorporating the inherent beauty and personality of Chie.
After a long day with transportation and an emotional ride, everyone came back to the resort to relax and prepare for the next cheerful and memorable moments with Vincent & Chie.
The dinner decoration echoed the colorful theme, blending various hues with traditional Vietnamese elements. We incorporated “tò he” name tags, floral placements, fortune cookies, colorful tablecloths, and hand-drawn portraits for the guests.
Despite a slight evening rain, the weather did not dampen the spirits or the energy of those gathered to celebrate this special day.
