Thùy and David’s wedding was more than just a ceremony – it was a romantic journey, a love story told through music. Inspired by the couple’s shared vision, the creative team at WIS developed the unique concept of a “wedding concert,” turning the entire celebration into an emotional experience that ebbed and flowed like a carefully crafted symphony – from tender, quiet moments to joyful crescendos.

A Garden Concert

Set in a lush, verdant garden, the ceremony was an ode to nature and love. It was here, surrounded by the soft rustling of leaves and blooming flowers, that Thùy and David exchanged their heartfelt vows. We embraced the natural greenery of the venue, enhancing it with delicate accents of white and orange blossoms. The result was a serene, dreamlike setting – simple yet poetic.

To love is to hear the music of another soul and dance to its rhythm

WIS focused on the small, thoughtful details that brought the “concert” theme to life. A real concert wouldn’t be complete without live music, and neither would this celebration. The air was filled with the soulful sounds of a live band – drums, guitars, saxophones, keyboards – accompanied by angelic voices that elevated the atmosphere into something magical and deeply moving.

As the live music gently swelled, guests began to arrive, welcomed into the garden through a unique check-in experience. At the entrance stood a table with vintage vinyl records. Guests were invited to sign their names on a record – a symbolic gesture marking their presence at this chapter of Thùy and David’s love story. Each name became a note in the larger symphony of their wedding day.

A Taste of Home

For this momentous occasion, Thùy chose to return to her beloved homeland, Vietnam – a place close to her heart, full of culture, warmth, and memories. She longed to reconnect with the familiar traditions and flavors of her roots, and the wedding beautifully honored that wish.

During the tea break, the couple delighted their guests with two iconic Vietnamese street food staples: crispy fried bananas and savory-spicy rice paper salad (bánh tráng trộn). These small bites were both nostalgic and delicious, chosen carefully to be satisfying yet light enough to leave room for the evening feast.

A particularly touching and personal ritual followed the vow exchange: the Coffee Ceremony. David, a devoted coffee lover, starts every morning with a freshly brewed cup – especially Vietnamese coffee. In this symbolic moment, after they had exchanged rings and promises, Thùy and David prepared and shared a cup of coffee together. It was a heartfelt gesture, a quiet promise: from now on, each day would begin with love – and perhaps, a perfectly brewed cup of Vietnamese coffee, made by David for Thùy.

From Vows to Vibes

To close the garden ceremony, we designed a playful twist on the traditional bouquet toss. Instead of flowers, Thùy and David threw custom-designed T-shirts into the crowd – merchandise from their very own “wedding tour.” Each shirt was a keepsake, a fun and personal souvenir that turned guests into fans of the couple’s love story. The energy was electric; laughter filled the air, and everyone wore wide, joyful smiles.

Under the Stars

After the soft romance of the garden ceremony, guests stepped into a whole new world – a shimmering dance floor beneath a sky full of stars. The transformation was breathtaking. Staying true to the musical theme, we designed a dazzling disco setup, complete with glimmering silver disco balls and moody lighting that recreated a starlit sky. It was an homage to Thùy and David’s very first date – an unforgettable night under the stars.

The couple opened the evening with a tender first dance, lost in each other’s eyes. The atmosphere grew quiet, almost reverent, allowing their love to shine brightest. As they twirled gracefully, the crowd erupted in applause, celebrating not just a dance, but a union of souls.

Dinner followed – a refined Asian-inspired menu, thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. Vinyl records reappeared as stylish menu cards and seating guides, continuing the musical motif in every detail. As the night deepened, the music picked up pace, and the dance floor filled. Guests danced freely, laughing and celebrating as if they were part of a real concert – one dedicated entirely to love.

It wasn’t just a wedding. It was an experience, a performance, a memory etched into every heart present.
