Luck, destiny, and the beautifully unpredictable way two lives intertwine — these became the heart of Nhật Anh and Anh Thư’s wedding story. Both bride and groom spent years living and studying in the United Kingdom, thousands of miles away from home. It was there, in a foreign country filled with new experiences and unfamiliar streets, that a gentle twist of fate nudged them toward one another.

And so, the theme of their wedding became clear: the magic of coincidence, the beauty of unexpected beginnings, and the courage to believe in destiny.

Toss a Coin

At the Trevi Fountain in Italy, Nhật Anh once tossed a coin and made a simple wish: to meet Anh Thư again. That wish, wrapped in hope and destiny, came true — not only did they meet again, but they returned to each other as soulmates ready to marry.

To honor this memory, we transformed their wedding space into a symbolic “Fontana,” a place where every guest could toss a coin and send their blessing into the universe. Each coin represented a wish, a prayer, a message of love — creating a shared experience that beautifully tied together past, present, and future.

When destiny whispers, love listens

The design embraced a European sensibility. Deep moss green, earthy browns, aged gold accents — all were carefully woven into the space to evoke the warm, vintage charm of old European castles. These colors mirrored the couple’s years abroad, the cultural influence that shaped them, and the timeless elegance of the memory they wanted to preserve.

Guests arrived in coordinated hues of moss, olive, and chocolate, turning the entire celebration into a harmonious canvas where the bride’s white gown glowed with undeniable radiance. Her presence became the focal point — pure, luminous, and breathtaking.

The Activity

To make the celebration even more personal, we wove in elements that reflected the couple’s shared love for poker and card games — a perfect match for the theme of luck, chance, and destiny. Card motifs appeared throughout the event, from the morning ceremony to the evening reception.

Guests wrote heartfelt messages on playing cards instead of traditional notes, and in place of the classic shoe game, the bride and groom used the King and Queen of Hearts to answer questions — a playful and meaningful twist. Guests were also invited to take part in a fun guessing game: predicting which song the couple had chosen for their first dance. These interactive details added excitement, laughter, and a sense of delightful unpredictability — turning the wedding into a celebration full of joy, surprises, and warm memories.
